ellen page

I must confess Ellen Page is my favourite actress in all time. She's versatile (she has made the different roles of Juno, Ariadne on inception or the hard roller girl on whip it) and so natural in her acting. I must say that her master piece of acting is the swilling Juno, where she takes the character of a very mature and unusual girl who decides to have the baby she is preignant of.
Here I leave two of my favourite movie moments:

1st: Juno kisses paulie bleeker and she mades a rude gesture to the cameraman (the spirit on the movie: love   and teenage "cheekyness")
2nd: the best quote of the movie, juno "looses her faith in humanity" becausethe adoptive father of her future baby flees from the situation.
And there you have one of the songs of the movie's soundtrack (which is great, by the way)

pete doherty

He has been the british "bon vivant" archetype for years. Most of his fame has been given for his relationship with the top model and also droug-liker Kate Moss. Although everybody knows he has some kind of music life, not many know how good his music is.
He has performed in two main bands: the libertines and the babyshambles, in which he is currently. Here you have one of his songs with them: delivery.

He has also been tagged as a fashion icon, mainly becouse of his relationship with Moss. Maybe his scruffy style has the guilt. He is the current archetype of british rocker who lives for music and self-love

b. dylan

Well, there is nothing i can say about bob dylan that you dont know. Here, a pic I actually love. Dylan smokes ignoring the atention of his anxious fans. His spirit reflected on a perfect capture.
Now I choose one of my favourites songs by Bob Dylan. I hope you like it!

what does indie mean?

That is the question that a reader makes to Andrés Calamaro in his section of the Rolling Stone (number 142, august of 2011) magazine: doctor rock. he replies the following text:

"The genre should be part of a history of gestures of noise, electroglam and elegant indifference. However, what today is known as indie doesnt fit to the hermetic commandments of the stuff we can tag as independent. [...] Well, the new wave doesnt wears only black (as we saw in the sad 90's, gold times of british indie). Another difference is a less commintment with the genre, which allows to have a lot of different "sub-genres" of indie."

Well, that is what Andrés Calamaro understands of the term "indie". I just want to give you a graphic description of indie music, so here you have some of my favourtie bands and songs:
I stand corrected, by Vampire Weekend
Shut up and let me Go, by The Ting Tings
The modern age, by the strokes

chill it out.

sanxenxo is a small city in Galicia. It has a population of 16.000 people, which reaches the hundred thousands in summer. I must admit that it is really cool.

time is nothing but a lie.

Russian Red (aka Lourdes Hernandez) is a spanish singer who sings that style that's used to be called indie. She has 2 albums: "I love Your Glasses" and "Fuerteventura". The second one was released just months ago and, in my opinion, is her best job: the songs sound familiar and fresh at the same time. Here I leave a pic I took last saturday, she was perfect
.

The song is called "the memory is cruel", from hes lastest cd: "Fuerteventura"
